All athletes love the wonderful, sought after state of mind known as “the zone.” This state of supreme focus helps athletes in all sports perform at their highest.  Many athletes who want to reach their infinite potential are always in search of secrets to get into the "zone."  But the zone is really just a mere myth when you begin to understand and become comfortable in your own skin, in what I call: Performance STYLE!

What is "Performance STYLE"

Style is simply a subconscious state of complete involvement in the present moment. I call this "styling" because it depicts your particular, distinctive, characteristic mode or state of play.  Every golfers "style" is different, so for golfers to strive to the so-called one magical zone place in a set up for failure.  Once you know, implement, and function within your Style, you will discover your ideal performance mode. 

If the playing in your style is that simple, why can't athletes maintain their ideal performance state within their field of play?  Some of the top athletes do, but many athletes enter their field of play unprepared, subconsciously allowing distractions such as fear of failure and worry to dictate their performance. The key to playing in your style is raising your level of awareness, accept your style and that is uniquely yours, and harnessing the power of the mind by using meditation and visualization techniques.

When your mind fully concentrates, connects with achieving a goal, such as hitting fairways and greens, attention is absorbed into the present - the here and now only.

  1. Your mind is captivated to the thoughts and images that help you execute with precision.
  2. You naturally develop what I call: Mistaken Idenity!  With pinpoint focus, fear of failure, worry, doubt, indecision, and other psychological traps are forbidden from entering your conscious mind. In this ideal performance state of concentration distractions may struggle to compete for your attention, but lose the battle.

  • Key = GET OUT OF YOUR WAY; ALLOW YOUR TRAINING TO TAKE OVER
  • Body is performing (through) training and development of your subconscious
  • Know and understand your Rythem and Timing
  • Set up Style triggers and signals to remain in ideal performance mode
