Transformation Thinking
Perhaps the most common mind tool of all, transformational thinking involves being aware of thoughts and emotions that creates one’s internal living experience. Take notice that this is transformational and not positive thinking. One’s thought process has to move beyond just mere positive and into realms of transformation for revolutionary change. Every person in the world has at least one positive thought a day, but also thousands of negative thoughts a day. So, just being positive is not the solution. It is in recognizing the disempowering thoughts and transforming them into new empowering thoughts. Then from there, that is what you focus on. Resulting in the Transformation of the Mind to Transforming Emotions, which will naturally Transform Performance.
Mental Practice
Mental practice is the continual practice and rehearsal of the mind for daily living, upcoming practice session, and tournament play. Mental practice can be used in programming your mind to enhance a particular mental or personal quality. This is a great way to develop your subconscious for the purpose of fulfilling your desired outcome. This exercise builds clearer focus, greater confidence, and performance advancement.
Visualization & Imagery
This is merely one single mental practice that can revolutionize and advance performance. It involves using the Mind Map Blueprinting for Success within mentally practice, daily preparation focus, goal setting and achievement, relaxation, renewing energy and confidence, attitude adjustments, reinterpreting events, emotional stabilization and association. I have seen no other skill so often misapplied and wasted. However I have also seen the tremendous effectiveness by some athletes who understood its power. Athletes need a clear guide to imagery and visualization, one that explains in detail what it is, how it works, how to effectively utilize these creative tools, and how it fits in the current strengths of the athlete.
You can harness your creativity by implementing visualization and imagery techniques to enhance focus to advance your performance. Visualization has everything to do with understanding the difference between the Conscious and the Subconscious.
Three Modes of Visualization that we cover repeatedly throughout our coaching:
Meditation & Relaxation
Mediation + Relaxation = Contemplating yourself as surrounded by the conditions which you want to produce. In meditation, you can construct a clear picture in your mind of what you want. CREATE, KEEP, HOLD, and contemplate that picture CONSTANTLY…you will soon BECOME exactly as you have been envisioning.
By definition, meditation is the concentration of the mind on one thing, in order to aid mind, physical, and/or spiritual development, contemplation, and relaxation. Meditation incorporated with imagery and visualization, is a form of self-hypnosis. This provides the expanding opportunity of the mind-body skill to be utilized in a wide variety of subconscious training purposes. This process utilized properly can be most effective for deeper relaxation, enhanced focus, unconditional confidence, and advancing performance.

Cognitive Reorganization
A more refined tool, cognitive reorganization involves the transformation of known or unknown thoughts and patterns of thinking so attitudes and mindsets are re-formed into desirable and intentional mental structures.
